Context: Evidence that Hippigreen cars at least were imported in France can be found with an example photographed at a VW meeting in Saint-Pierre-de-Boeuf in 1994 published in VW Scene 6/94. Probably all Pop Beetles imported to France were exhibited under the Eiffel Tower in Paris on 5 June 1970 where a b/w press photo was taken.
