Context:

We have found photographic evidence from more than one source that leads us to believe that at least the Signal Orange 1970 Spring Edition was imported into Sweden. This variation appears to have been one of the highest specification versions of that particular Edition made. Although not based on an “L” model as the Swiss version was it did nevertheless have the padded dashboard and other fittings associated with that lux trim option, high back seats, and Eberspächer stationary heater frequently seen on Beetles exported to Scandinavia and Canada combined with the 1500cc engine common only to one other Signal Orange Edition – the UK market June Beetle.
